The Journey Behind Rohit Kandwar Travel Vlog
Travel and my fascination with the natural world have been part of my life since childhood. I have always been drawn to unfamiliar places, mountain landscapes, long trails, and the feeling of discovering something beyond the boundaries of everyday life.
Over the years, that curiosity gradually grew into a deeper passion for travel, hiking, trekking and exploring the Himalayas . While my professional life has taken me into the world of computer science and cybersecurity, travelling has given me a completely different kind of exploration. It takes me away from screens and into mountains, forests, valleys, villages and landscapes that cannot really be understood until they are experienced firsthand.
Why I Travel
For me, travelling is not simply about reaching another destination. It is about experiencing places at my own pace, walking through unfamiliar landscapes, understanding different environments and collecting experiences that stay with me long after the journey ends.
My journey into solo travel began with my first solo trip to Tirthan Valley . What started as a single adventure became the beginning of something much bigger. I discovered the freedom of travelling alone, the joy of experiencing places at my own pace, and the countless stories that emerge when you step outside your comfort zone.
That experience encouraged me to explore more destinations on my own and eventually inspired me to start my YouTube travel channel , where I began documenting my journeys through travel videos.
After a pause in my travels, I returned to exploring in 2022 . Getting back on the road reminded me just how much I had missed travelling, discovering new places, walking through unfamiliar landscapes and experiencing the natural world firsthand.
I began documenting these journeys more seriously through photographs, videos, stories and travel experiences. In 2023 , I took another important step by professionally launching RohitKandwar.com .
